Students

As teenagers are within sight of leaving school, the Youth Team are available to mentor them through the transition to University or Apprenticeships and keep in touch with them during their student years. We treat students as adults in the church but recognise their special pastoral needs and potential to grow in faith and ministry.

Students either studying or on work placements in the Banstead area are very welcome at ChristChurch on Sundays, and at Connect.

Young Adults

Being a ‘young adult’ is exciting but not always easy. There are so many decisions to make: what job to do, where to live, how to spend your time, who to go out with, and more. Some decisions are taken out of our hands, many we wrestle with, and it often isn’t easy to know what to do and who to listen to. Our church family and our Connect group are great spaces to think these things through.

Connect

Bible study group for young adults

Term time: Thursdays 8pm - 9:30pm

The aim of Connect is for young adults to be guided by Jesus; that his voice wouldn’t be one of many, but the voice that shapes the whole of your life.

We want you to grow in your love and knowledge of Jesus; to get to know others who are trying to do the same at a similar age and stage in life as you; for you to learn how to find your place in the wider church family and to grow in confidence to share the good news of Jesus with colleagues and friends. Or, to put it another way, we want to help you Connect with Christ, each other, the church and the world.
