Watch the video below for an update on our plans for Sundays at ChristChurch for the foreseeable future:
Hi everyone. We’re moving over to our Facebook page for livestreaming this evening at 6:15pm so do join us there: facebook.com/churchbanstead
Quick trailer for our plans for tomorrow…
We have set up special pages on our website to provide resources for families with children and young people. Do check them out and make use of them both on Sundays and during the week. Huge thanks to Lisa Travers and David Ridal for preparing them for us:
We sent out our first new-look weekly NEWS this afternoon by email to all church members and attenders. Do look out for it in your inbox, or check other folders. If you think you haven’t received it and you should have, please contact nicola[dot]goddard[at]christchurchbanstead[dot]org
We can confirm that we will be live-streaming a basic service from the church building at 10:15am and 6:15pm each Sunday featuring a small number of participants. No live congregation will be present but we encourage all who would normally attend ChristChurch to tune in online at these times. More information will be provided in the days leading up to Sunday.
To get ready, do visit the ChristChurch Banstead YouTube channel where the video streams will appear. Hitting ‘subscribe’ will help you know when videos are coming, and will also help us reach as many people as possible in these days:
Once a live stream has finished, it will be available to watch for several days afterwards. The plan is to deliver recordings of the morning service to those with no internet access.
Although it will feel strange to start with, we trust that setting aside these times together to hear God’s word will be a blessing to us all, and help us ensure we remain all about Jesus in the days that lie ahead.
This is to alert all members and attenders of ChristChurch that we will be providing comprehensive updates each Friday for you all, in the form of a weekly NEWS email. Printed copies will also be delivered to those who have no online access.
Please look out for this important message on Friday, which will include details of how to access our live-streams on Sundays, how to stay in touch with your small groups and one to ones, how we are coordinating pastoral care for the most vulnerable, prayer news from the congregation and our mission partners, special sections for Youth, Children and Families, plus news on Books and other recommended resources.
We can confirm that, following the government’s latest announcement concerning schools, Jack and Jill preschool will be closing at 3pm on Friday 20 March and will remain closed until further notice.
We thank parents and carers for their understanding, and the Jack and Jill staff for their dedication at this time. Jack and Jill will keep in touch appropriately with all families connected to the preschool during this difficult time.
