Missionary

Rick & Alanna Creighton

Rick, Alanna, Asha, Conor and Jack live in central Nigeria, where they have been since 2012. Rick teaches in a Bible college for students who are training to be pastors, missionaries and/or Christian Education teachers. He teaches preaching subjects covering different Bible books, such as John's Gospel and Judges, and theology courses covering Christians beliefs on various topics. He also teaches students about historical Christian figures and the contribution they have made to our understanding of Christ.

The kids and Alanna are part of the college community. They join in with a number of children's and student groups. They enjoy getting to know the students and their families in their home and on campus.

Gordana Jurkovic

Gordana serves the Lord in the small (20 serving members) Evangelical Church in Tuzla (her home town), Bosnia & Herzegovina and through its English Language School (www.svjetionik-lighthouse.com). In 1995, while living in England, she received Jesus as her Saviour and Lord through Christchurch Banstead. Two years later, with the support of the church, she returned to Tuzla to provide care for her elderly mother and set up the school. So far 1300 students have attended the school, most of whom are University students or professionals. Currently she is the only teacher and has about 25 students. Apart from enjoying the teaching, she also likes socialising Bosnian style – lots of coffee and naughty cakes!

Terry & Christine Miller

Terry and Christine Miller live in the city of Cordoba, Southern Spain, with their children, Joel and Esther, and are currently starting to plant a city centre church with European Christian Mission to reach primarily secular Spaniards with the good news of Jesus.
